As the founding and managing partner of Daye & Partners in November of 2011, Bill brings over 40 years of experience and expertise in accounting and taxation.
After obtaining his Bachelor of Commerce in accounting from the University of British Columbia and attaining his CA, Bill joined a large national accounting firm where he practiced until 1991. In 1991 Bill established Daye & Company, where he was able to offer his experience with financial, organization and management matters with his clients.
Bill’s professional affiliations throughout the years with the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Alberta, Institute of Chartered Accountants of British Columbia, the Canadian Tax Foundation and the Society of Trust & Estate Practitioners has continued to maintain his highest possible standards within the accounting profession.
Making a difference and teamwork has always been Bill’s focus that he demonstrated throughout the years by serving on the boards of the Edmonton Big Sister Society, Big Brothers & Sisters of Edmonton, Edmonton Police Commission, Agriculture Financial Services Corporation (AFSC), and the Canadian Tax Foundation.
Specialization in corporate reorganizations, agricultural tax matters, estate succession planning, and appeals with the Canada Revenue Agency are just a few areas of Bill’s tax expertise.
